Who are Peak Pilates?

Nearly 25 years ago, surrounded by the majestic Colorado Rockies, we created Peak Pilates®. We were born out of dual inspirations: the pristine beauty of the mountains, and the timeless designs and movement principles created by Joseph Pilates. Today, we bring those inspirations together, offering the world’s most elegant Pilates equipment and unparalleled instructor education.

What type of Pilates is Peak Pilates?

Classical Pilates

How many hours is the classical Comprehensive programme?

Upon completion of all 3 levels, you will have clocked over 600hours of study.

Are there any prerequisutes?

Yes.

Ideally you will have at least 20hours of Pilates experience.

If you have yet to try Classical Pilates, we recommend you go experience a private session or group class.

Completion of the pre-course Module 1 which is supplied upon sign up of level 1.

Rooted in classical Pilates, our comprehensive instructor certification covers the full breadth of traditional Pilates reflecting modern advancements of the understanding of anatomy and movement. We focus not only on teaching instructors what to teach, but truly teaching instructors how to teach. Our emphasis on coaching allows us to meet each instructor wherever they are on their journey while helping them grow into the best teacher they can be.

How is the programme broken down?

Level 1 - 4 Modules

Level 2 - 3 Modules

Level 3 - 3 Modules.

Progress at your own pace.

Do I need access to equipment?

Yes.

For you to be successful is passing your certification, you need to be able to practise on the equipment. 

Most important is a Mat & Reformer. Through the levels, access to Tower and chair is also important. Your Master Instructor can guide you in how you can practise on equipment you don't have. 

We recommend you search locally for a comprehensive studio that you would hire to help practise.
